Friends of Estabrook Park
We are the Friends of Estabrook Park (FOE). We are associated with The Park People of Milwaukee County, Inc.. Park People is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that serves as a fiscal umbrella for many of the park friends groups in Milwaukee County.
We participate mainly in weedouts (removal of invasive plants), river cleanups,
garden construction and maintenance, and trail maintenance.
Our members lead bird and nature hikes for the community.
We cooperate with the Milwaukee Historical Society in maintaining historic buildings in the park,
and support the dog park, the disc golf course and the beer garden.
Mainly, we are advocates for the park, its natural areas, and its recreational facilities.
